HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU

a one-woman show performed in English by Danish actress Annemette Andersen, written by Canadian-American playwright Richard Willett and directed by Norwegian director Henning Hegland. Produced by American Mary Miller, Icelandic Hallfridur Tryggvadottir and Danish Mike Hecchi. 

 

The play is an investigation into the nature of memories, and coming to terms with the choices made in life. This play brings us through the highs and lows of Ingrid Bergman’s journey, the extraordinary artistic collaborations and achievements, the tragic and exhilarating love life, her real-life role as absent but loving mother, the workaholic who refused to stop. She acted, until the end.

 

The play is an international collaboration featuring various nationalities and with production and development rooted in Denmark and the extensive creative team has begun exploring a visual and sound landscape that travels along with Ingrid’s storytelling.
